Rules and Regulations

Spamming is not allowed at OMU.
Post up some art and let others make up their own minds if they want to pay you a visit or not.
PLEASE try and keep the profanity to a minimum.
We can tolerate a little here and there to make your point, but if it gets out of hand, we'll start issuing warnings.
No pics of a sexual nature without explicit warnings in the title of your posts.
We understand art contains nudity, even the tutorials would be worthless without it, but we would like OMU to remain a family oriented site. Please help us to keep it that way!
Please be a mature human being. Ignore posts you don't like, don't flame them.
Best advice: If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. If we feel you are being immature, we'll start issuing warnings. If you act immature on a constant basis, we will ban you. We simply don't have the time to babysit.
Bullying or personal abuse of any sort will not be tolerated.
As artists, we all come from different cultures, and different parts of the world. Be tolerant of those different than you. It will make our little community that much better if you do!
You normally get three warnings from GUIDO, or one of the Admins or Mods before we will ban you, unless you perform a gross violation of the rules or start acting like a real pain in the ass.
Three strikes is fair in baseball, and it applies here, too. Gross violations - violations that are in direct defiance of GUIDO or the admins - are grounds for immediate banishment. NO EXCEPTIONS. Quite frankly, we don't care how good of an artist you are if you're going to be a jerk.
Thou shalt not steal.
Do not steal someone's art and claim it as your own, we can tell when you do. Fan art is acceptable, but if you're doing a fan art of a character that's not well known, make sure you give credit to the artist by mentioning that it's not yours. If you want to CG someone's line art, please get permission from the artist first.
Let dead posts lie.
We get tired of seeing the same posts over and over again. After a while, we'd like to move on to something new. If it's over a month old, please, no more responses. It's dead.

So, what happens when GUIDO or one of the admins issues a warning?

If one of us gives you a warning, we probably mean business, and yes, you probably deserved it. If you feel you've been wronged, you can appeal your case by emailing any of the faculty and we will discuss your case. If you decide to post up an argument on the BBS, instead of emailing one of us, chances are your post will be deleted and you will be shown the door.
